City council tentatively adopts 2025-26 tentative budget; public hearing set for May 20

Council discussion was brief; staff noted the budget had been reviewed at a work session earlier in the evening and at prior retreats and work sessions. A council member moved to tentatively approve the tentative budget, a second was received, and the motion passed by voice vote (all in favor).
