Chief medical officer briefs committee on proposed 2025–26 medical control board budget

Dr. Jeffrey Goodloe, chief medical officer, told the Tulsa Urban and Economic Development Committee on May 14 that the medical control board is seeking the committee's consideration of the proposed 2025–26 medical control board budget while stressing clinical improvements and cost restraint.
Goodloe said the EMS system has adopted new cardiac monitors, defibrillators and airway-management tools and described a recent on-scene whole-blood transfusion for a trauma patient as an example of improved capabilities.
