The Nevada County Board of Supervisors on May 13 accepted the Tahoe Truckee Homeless Action Plan, a regionally focused document produced by the Tahoe Truckee Homeless Advisory Committee (TTHAC) that lays out shelter, navigation and long-term housing needs for the Truckee/Tahoe region.
Health and Human Services Agency Director Ryan Gruber told the board the plan is an outgrowth of county and Placer County homeless action efforts and was developed with the Town of Truckee, the Community Foundation, Tahoe Forest Hospital, Sierra Community House and other regional partners.
