Ashland County Chamber announces 40,000-copy visitor guide

The guide covers recreation and communities across Ashland County, from Madeline Island to Copper Falls and from Butternut to LaPointe. The chamber said the print run is usually about 40,000 copies and the guides are included in information requests handled by county and chamber offices as well as by the Northwest Wisconsin tourism committee (ITBEC).
Mary said the guide serves as a fulfillment piece for visitors and residents seeking activity information. She also mentioned the office is monitoring winter weather and snow conditions for trail users.
The announcement was provided as an informational report; no committee action was taken on the guide during the meeting.
