S.53 concerns certification of community-based perinatal doulas and Medicaid coverage for doula services; S.127 concerns housing and housing development.
Several ceremonial introductions also occurred: championship athletes from Fairhaven Union High School and Mappenzie Soleimani, the Poetry Out Loud Vermont champion, were recognized and seated in the gallery. The devotional portion and student recitations were part of the opening of the day's session and are not substantive legislative actions.
