The amendments included: (1) changes to chapter 9, article 1, section 9-5 (Ordinance 2025-07) to clarify methods of delivery for nuisance notices and standardize timeframes for correction after issuance of a notice of nuisance or a notice of violation; (2) a new definition for "normal hours of operation" in chapter 1 (Ordinance 2025-09); and (3) changes to chapter 13, article 2 (Ordinance 2025-10) to restrict the operation of machinery and lawn equipment during specified hours. Staff described the amendments as cleanup and code-standardization resulting from prior council discussions (including issues raised around LOTUS events).
