City staff presented the replat and explained it consists of three lots. The Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval on Oct. 14, 2024, and the item was presented to council in November 2024, but a subsequent update to the title opinion showed that the developer had conveyed two of the lots within the plat. Staff said the only change to the replat is the addition of two owners joining the plat for the two out parcels created.
The city engineer’s office recommended approval of the final plat subject to the title opinion being updated prior to recordation. No agent appeared to speak and no members of the public commented during the public comment period for the item.
A motion to approve SUB23-45407 passed on a roll-call vote with the members recorded as voting aye: Branson, Boudreaux, Carlock, London and Lopez.
Council approval allows recordation after the applicant satisfies the title‑opinion condition; separate site plans will be required for development of the out parcels.
