Attending officers who introduced themselves included Wayne Connell (Lake County Sheriff's Office), Dan Newton (Lake County Sheriff's Office), Kendall Allis (North Platte Police Department), Jeffrey Foot (North Platte Police Department) and Damian Jones (Immigration and Customs). The chair presented Lincoln County coins and invited the group for a staged photograph at the courthouse.
Ending: Commissioners noted a state patrol ceremony would be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Peace Officers Memorial Site in Iron Horse Park and encouraged community participation.
