Benbrook Planning-Zoning Commission on Thursday recommended that city council rezone 13.71 acres on the city’s northwest edge from D (multifamily) to a BPD (one-family planned development), a change that would limit development to a maximum of 10 single-family lots tied to the adjacent Maverick master plan.
The recommendation, offered by Mr. Allison and seconded by Mr. Carver, passed unanimously and will go to the city council for final action. The applicant, PNB Capital Investments, said the change reduces potential density and aligns the site with the nearby Maverick community being built mostly in Fort Worth.
