Encinitas Environmental Commission approves minutes and work plan, schedules outreach and ordinance briefings

The Encinitas Environmental Commission voted to approve the minutes from last month’s meeting and to adopt its current work plan at the May meeting.

The meeting record shows commissioners moved and seconded both motions but did not record individual mover/second names on the transcript; each vote was carried by a unanimous vocal “Aye.” The commission had a quorum when the votes were taken and later recorded Commissioner Fletcher as present. No opposed votes were recorded.

Staff updates: Ryan Lampkin, the city’s sustainability analyst, delivered the work‑plan update on behalf of staff.
