The Clark County School District Board of Trustees unanimously approved the district’s board meeting calendars for 2026 and 2027 at the May 7, 2025 work session.
Joe Caruso of the superintendent’s office presented the calendars and said planners reserved the last two weeks of May for graduations and kept the National School Boards (Council of Great City Schools) conference week in October open because trustees typically attend. The calendars also show the district’s final budget meeting dates to help trustees and committees plan in advance.
Caruso explained that board committees typically schedule their work around board meetings so the calendar decision helps committee planning and room availability. Trustees had no substantive changes and voted to adopt the calendars.
The motion to approve the 2026 and 2027 board meeting calendars passed 7–0.
Ending
The adopted calendars will be posted online and used to coordinate board committee schedules and public notices for the two-year planning cycle.
