The ordinance amendment, presented by Deputy Director Sydney Larabee of Animal Care, revises Davis County Code Title 6, chapter 6.28, section 6.2807 to replace older language that named only “hearing and seeing eye dogs” with wording that covers “all service animals as defined” in county code. Larabee said the change updates the code to match ADA definitions. Commissioners moved to approve the ordinance and commissioners answered "Aye" on the motion; the motion passed.
