The supervisor singled out Shannon Walker Smith for directing volunteers. The report listed upcoming collection events, including Clear Lake Oaks collections at the Moose Lodge on May 31 and June 7.
No board action or vote was reported on landfill capacity or new facilities during the calendar reports. The supervisors framed the cleanups as community-driven efforts supported by county staff and described ongoing planning to continue collection events; the supervisor urged ongoing coordination to tally and track volumes so the county can assess longer-term disposal needs.
