Representatives for the property at 11201 Southwest 50 Sixth Court told the magistrate on May 7 that they had addressed several maintenance violations after the property owner’s recent passing, but city inspectors confirmed two items still required action.
Contractor representative Andrew Collazo said landscaping, fence repair and garbage accumulation issues had been corrected and that a vehicle listed as a junked or unregistered vehicle had been registered. Inspector Daniels reported she found trash receptacles and litter had been removed and the accumulation addressed, but the sidewalk still required pressure washing and the vehicle cover hid the license tag.
Kleinman found violations had existed but that several items had been cured. He ordered the vehicle tag to be exposed for inspection within five days and gave the property 12 days (to May 19) to power-wash the sidewalk. If the vehicle tag or sidewalk are not corrected within those time frames, the magistrate imposed a $50-per-day fine for each uncured violation, and an administrative fee of $150 for each proceeding; the magistrate said the total administrative fees for the outstanding matters would amount to $300. Orders will be mailed to the responsible parties.
Inspector Daniels was directed to re‑inspect and confirm compliance; the magistrate said the registration must be visible without staff lifting vehicle covers to avoid warrant issues.
