Most of these items drew little or no public comment and were approved with motions and recorded votes of “all voting yes.” Where motions were recorded, the meeting transcript identifies the council member who made the motion and the council member who seconded it.
Items deferred or receiving further hearings: The city scheduled third readings and additional hearings where required by ordinance (for example, Ordinance No. 4184 scheduled for third reading on May 20). Where the council was asked to suspend rules to allow immediate action (Ordinance No. 4186), the suspension passed and the ordinance was voted on the same night.
The council closed the meeting after filing administrative reports; no closed session was held.
