Council nominates Richard Hafe to fill vacancy on Hood Central Appraisal District board

The Granbury City Council on Tuesday nominated Richard Hafe to fill a vacancy on the Hood Central Appraisal District (HCAD) Board of Directors and adopted Resolution No. 25-08 to forward his name to the district chief appraiser.
City staff said the HCAD notified the city of the vacancy and that the district board will consider nominations submitted by member jurisdictions to fill the unexpired term ending Dec. 31, 2025. City Manager Kaufman said a resume from Hafe was provided to council in the meeting packet.
Council moved and seconded the nomination and adopted the resolution; the vote was recorded as 6-0 in favor. No public opposition was raised during the meeting. The city clerk will transmit the nomination to the HCAD chief appraiser for consideration by that board.
