Tim (staff) said the contractor requested a start date that could be delayed a week for public notification and that the road would reopen before the center opens but with only a binder-course pavement until final asphalt is placed alongside the parking-lot work. “They wanna wait until the final asphalt goes down on the parking lot, at the YMCA before they do that. So it'll reopen with a binder,” Tim said.
