An interview panel of 13 — including administrators, support staff, teachers, parents and students — recommended two finalists; the executive team conducted final interviews.
The candidate recommended by the executive team and approved by the board was identified in board materials as Joshua Breezy, a Creighton employee with more than 15 years of district experience. The presentation said Breezy began teaching in the district in 2006, served as a student-achievement teacher and coach, and was appointed assistant principal at Loma Linda in 2018; he has also served as a lead assistant principal for the district and has participated on district committees.
