Pam Norris, Acton's representative to the Minuteman School Committee, introduced Superintendent Heidi Driscoll who summarized student outcomes, program participation and the district's FY2026 budget request. She said Minuteman's FY2026 operating budget increase is 2.99% overall and that Acton ccounts for about 83 students in Minuteman's programs. The presentation noted changes in capital recommendations and that the district has absorbed an ESCO lease payment that fell off the books, producing some operating-year impacts.
The select board and finance committee recommended the appropriation. Town Meeting voted using the clickers; the motion passed by the majority required for the article.
