A motion to appoint Commissioner Barnett as the Board’s negotiator with the county’s negotiation period “not to exceed 60 days” passed on roll call (Commissioner Smith Yes; Commissioner Barnett Yes; Commissioner Gluck/Black Yes). The motion carried 3–0.
No rent or term changes were finalized at the workshop; staff noted a redline lease had been prepared as a discussion starter and that Barnett would work with library representatives and return to the Board within the specified timeframe.
