PRN also exhibited at the Texas Society of Health-System Pharmacists annual conference at the Irving Convention Center in April.
Leal said the presentations covered mental health and substance-use statistics for health-care professionals, the benefits of peer-assistance monitoring and resources available through PRN. She told the Board PRN plans to continue working with pharmacy schools and other partners statewide to increase awareness of program services.
Leal also reported LBB enrollment numbers submitted March 10 covering Sept. 1, 2024, through Feb. 28, 2025: 0 volunteer pharmacy students, 2 board-ordered pharmacy students, 16 volunteer pharmacists and 38 board-ordered pharmacists.
