Development Services Director Homer De Pablo told commissioners the petition seeks vacation of 7.5‑foot utility and drainage easements across lots 17, 18 and 19 to allow construction of a single‑family home with a side‑entry garage. De Pablo said all affected utility providers and county departments had indicated no objection to the request and recommended approval.
Commissioner Champion made the motion to approve; Commissioner Alaco seconded. The board voted unanimously, 5–0, to authorize the chair to sign the resolution.
Commission discussion touched briefly on whether small, routine easement vacations could be handled administratively in the future. De Pablo said state rules make that process a statutory requirement now but staff would review whether procedural changes are possible.
The action was recorded as a consent motion on the land‑use agenda. No members of the public spoke on the item.
