VFW plans veterans photo shoot May 18; Memorial Day parade and service set for May 25 in St. Clair Shores

Brian Dopke, who helped organize the original photo, asked residents to also attend the city's Memorial Day activities on Sunday, May 25, calling out a 9 a.m. memorial service at Veterans Memorial Park and a parade later that day.
Verhage noted the VFW lounge would be open for veterans and guests who arrive early or stay after the photo shoot. Council and the mayor thanked the presenters and encouraged veterans to participate.
