Price City Council approves appointments, equipment purchases and service rates; ratifies fire agreement

Price City Council voted on a slate of personnel, procurement and service-rate items during its May 14 meeting, approving an appointment, two resolutions, multiple equipment purchases and an interlocal fire-services agreement by voice vote.

The council appointed and swore in Billy Hileson as Price City Treasurer and approved several budgeted purchases and administrative resolutions. Council members approved Resolution No. 2025-13, which updates the city's financial contribution approach for certain Price City employee 401(k) accounts; Resolution No. 2025-14, establishing annual garbage collection and disposal rates under the current contract; the purchase of two Class C dump trucks on a state contract; the purchase of a highway roller (a used demonstration unit at a lower price); and an interlocal agreement with Carbon County for fire emergency services. The council also approved the consent agenda (items A through J).
