The council also approved Resolution R25-19, revising portions of the Syracuse City personnel policy and procedures manual. Staff highlighted changes to nepotism language, child-abuse training/background policy, and a per-diem dietary-restriction allowance; council discussion noted some concern about potential misuse but ultimately passed the resolution unanimously.
Resolution R25-20, adopting by reference key results and key performance indicators (KPIs) associated with the city’s vision statements, was also approved unanimously after several months of prior review.
