The committee heard a detailed presentation from Abby Hansen, controller and director of the Office of Finance and Management, who said $77.7 million in 2025 supplemental county option income tax was received for eligible units and that the city-county portion of certified shares totals $34.4 million. Hansen said the fiscal ordinance does not appropriate the full certified-share amount because property-tax projections decreased by about $7 million after final state certification on Aug. 7 and because other units issued additional debt that increased circuit-breaker losses.
