The attached amendment removed a criminal penalty and instead provides that a provider who violates the specified provisions “may be subject to disciplinary action by the board, agency, or other entity by which they are licensed, certified, or regulated.”

Assembly Members Haven and Hibbetts recorded nays in committee; several members reserved their right to change positions on the floor.
