Kubista said St Germain has been an administrator in Arizona, has ties to Oregon and previously taught eighth-grade math, served as an instructional coach and worked as a district mathematics specialist before entering administration. The superintendent said the district will share the high-school principal appointment with staff first when that search is finalized.
The announcements were presented as informational updates; the hiring announcement did not show a board vote in the public transcript. Kubista said staff will notify school staff and then the broader community once the high-school principal selection is complete.
