The Union County Board of Commissioners confirmed three appointments during its May 5 meeting. The board appointed Kathleen Demanski to the Home and Community Care Block Grant advisory committee and appointed Eric J. Claflin and Matthew Childs to the Consolidated Human Services Board.
Commissioner Brian Helms nominated Kathleen Demanski for the Home and Community Care Block Grant advisory committee. Commissioner Hammes moved to appoint Eric J. Claflin to the Consolidated Human Services Board to fill the community-based organization representative seat and to appoint Matthew Childs to the psychologist seat; the board voted in favor of both recommendations.
