District 7 recommended resurfacing segments of KY 1965 (Fords Mill Road), KY 1685, and KY 2331 (Newcutt Road). The court accepted the Orange Diamond project recommendations and then voted to retain the 20% flex funds for in-county use, as recommended by the road supervisor, enabling the county to apply the $170,976 locally rather than redirecting it to a state-maintained route. The motions were moved and seconded during the meeting and passed by voice vote.
The court also authorized the road department to seek quotes for fluids where bid responses were not received, and directed staff to sign District 7 paperwork finalizing the selections.
