Committee forwards sewer plan amendment for AM Global Holdings project at 617 Fremont Street

The Community and Planning Committee voted May 5 to forward to full council a resolution amending the official sewer facility plan to incorporate a new land-development project by AM Global Holdings at 617 Fremont Street.
Senior planner Lauren Finn described the item as "a pretty simple sewer planning module" that had been approved by the county; because county-level approval occurred after the committee’s prior action the item was returned to committee to complete the record. Finn said the project meets criteria to move forward.
During public comment one resident asked whether a new water station or broader water-system upgrades were planned; staff said the work associated with this development would expand capacity for that specific development but would not "fix the main project" or broader water-system needs. The committee moved the resolution to the full council calendar for final action, with a target full-council date identified by the committee.
