At its meeting, the Sweetwater Board of Commissioners recorded the following formal actions and votes.
- Accept distributions (payments list): Motion to accept the distributions and register payments as presented. Voice vote recorded as in favor; motion carries.
- Approve flashing signal at Main and Morris (crosswalk in front of Hunter's Café): Motion to place an additional flashing signal at the Main and Morris crosswalk; motion carried by voice vote. Staff said installation will wait until the budget rollover (likely July).
- Transfer ownership / maintenance agreement for traffic signals: Motion to transfer ownership of a traffic signal from the Sweetwater Utilities Board to the city and to authorize city staff to execute a maintenance contract with Stansell Electric and an agreement with the county to share call/repair costs. Motion carried by voice vote; city staff authorized to execute the contracts.
- Restrict electric-vehicle registration revenue to State Street Aid: Motion to formally restrict EV registration revenue to State Street Aid; motion carried by voice vote. (See separate article for full discussion.)
