High Point council approves bond authorization, fleet financing and budget schedule; confirms board reappointments

The High Point City Council voted Monday to advance financing and calendar items ahead of the city budget process and confirmed multiple advisory‑board reappointments.

At the meeting Mayor Cyril Jefferson and council members adopted an initial resolution to seek Local Government Commission approval to issue up to $41,200,000 in combined enterprise system revenue bonds to fund water and sewer projects.
