Council approves consent items, assessment renewals and accepts quarterly budget report

At a regular meeting, the Pico Rivera City Council approved a package of consent items, renewed annual landscape and lighting assessments, and accepted the city’s fiscal year 2024–25 third-quarter budget report. All recorded votes on these items were unanimous 5-0.
Early on the agenda the council moved to approve agenda items 1 through 11 as a consent package; the motion passed on a 5-0 roll call.
The council then approved the Paramount Mines landscape maintenance assessment annual renewal. Councilmember Laura moved the measure and Mayor Pro Tem Tim Camacho seconded; the motion passed 5-0.
The landscaping and lighting assessment district No. 1 annual renewal also passed 5-0 after a motion by Councilmember Laura and a second from Mayor Pro Tem Camacho.
The council accepted the fiscal year 2024–25 third-quarter budget report with no presentation; the item was moved by Councilmember Laura and seconded by Councilmember Lutz, and the motion passed 5-0.
