Cunningham said Crossroads serves nearly 4,000 unduplicated individuals systemwide across its seven‑county service area and that 466 of those were Osage County residents in the reporting period. The agency reported growth in client counts and services and described recent operational steps, including acquiring Cornerhouse Inc., a substance‑use treatment provider. Crossroads said it plans to replicate Cornerhouse’s model and expand services in the county.
Cunningham and staff described staffing developments, including hiring a local manager (Ashley Schumholder) and steps to improve sustainability and on‑the‑ground capacity. The appropriation request packet included service breakdowns and a map of county service locations.
Commissioners did not take a formal vote on the appropriation at the May 13 meeting; they acknowledged receipt of the request and said they would review the materials during the county’s budget process.
