They said the district will use TIP grants and scheduled professional learning to create pacing and implementation plans, with an overview training before the school year and a follow-up session in October.
The board approved the purchase by unanimous roll call.
No substantive changes to school policy or other district programs were required for the purchase; any additional instrument purchases or classroom materials would be considered separately if buildings request them.
