City kicks off Croatian American Heritage Month with consular delegation and events in San Pedro

Consul General Renée Paja highlighted recent bilateral ties including a prime-minister visit and the sister-city relationship with Split. Frane Jukovic, president of the Croatian American Club of San Pedro, described the community's historical contributions to fishing, canning and shipbuilding and invited the public to Independence Day celebrations on May 25 at the Croatian American Club.
The program included traditional music performed by Croatian artist Roko Blažević and remarks about future events tied to the World Cup and the planned Croatia House in San Pedro. McOsker presented a city certificate to organizers and thanked the Consulate and local clubs for organizing multiple events.
