Palos Park council approves Cook County IGA and multiple warrant lists on consent agenda

The Palos Park Village Council approved its consent agenda on Oct. 13, including an intergovernmental agreement with the Cook County Department of Public Health and multiple warrant lists.
The council approved an IGA with the Cook County Department of Public Health to provide environmental health inspection services for Palos Park restaurants from Dec. 1, 2025, through Nov. 30, 2026, at a fee of $100 per inspection. The matter was presented on the consent agenda and approved as part of the single motion to enact routine items.
The council also ratified payment of invoices on the warrant list dated Sept. 22, 2025, in the amount of $206,479.57; approved payment of invoices on the warrant list dated Oct. 13, 2025, in the amount of $122,356.47; and approved a supplemental warrant list dated Oct. 13, 2025, for manual checks, payroll and recurring wire transfers in the amount of $710,027.93. A single motion and second carried these consent items; roll-call responses recorded Commissioner Wade, Commissioner Reed and Mayor Milovich Walters voting yes.
