Coffey County commissioners approve minutes, tax abatements and several board appointments

The commission approved a personnel action (CP 2) to hire Jake Weiser as a labor crew member at wage classification 5-2 ($15.82) effective 05/03/2025, and it adopted a resolution establishing traffic-control and speed-limit signage for a 58 Highway detour project (Resolution No. 2025-946A).
Votes on these routine items were taken by voice; the transcript records motions, seconds and the chair calling for “all in favor, say aye,” after which the chair said “Aye. Motion carries.” The meeting record does not include a roll-call vote with individual commissioner votes for each item.
