At its April 24 meeting the Lander County Board of Commissioners took the following actions during routine and business items.

Votes at a glance - Approval of consent items: The board approved the April 24, 2025 meeting agenda and the March 13, 2025 meeting minutes as part of the consent agenda. - Payment of bills: The commission voted to approve payment of county bills (agenda item 1.1). - NDOT road‑closure permit: The board approved an NDOT road closure permit for the World Human Powered Speed Challenge, scheduled Sept. 7–13, 2025 on Highway 305; the closure had the support of the sheriff, the highway patrol and the volunteer fire department. - Tri‑county meeting authorization: The commission authorized the county manager to set up a tri‑county meeting with Mineral and Pershing counties to discuss funding for eleventh‑judicial‑district services (court administration, court services, youth and family services and specialty courts). - Summit Edge / rail park: Commissioners declined to approve a development agreement or to transfer county land to Summit Edge at this meeting; they directed staff to draft a county master plan and to bring back development‑agreement benchmarks and options for phased or multiple‑developer participation.

Other procedural actions included tabling several justice‑court personnel items to a later meeting so all commissioners could participate in that discussion.
