Board approves retroactive correction after custodial pay error

So they're on track to do $2.40. They have been paid as 220,” a staff member said during the meeting. The board approved a motion to add a custodial pay adjustment so employees receive the pay they earned; staff said money for the adjustment exists in the approved budget and directed payroll to process the retroactive payments.
Board members framed the motion as a correction of an administrative error and voted to approve the adjustment. Staff said moving forward custodial employees should remain on the 240‑day schedule that supervisors had intended and that the change has already affected operations positively.
