Council adopts substitute clarifying Eighth District community fair

"This is essentially a motion, that comes to us as a substitute that comes forward to clarify, the matter, regarding a community fair that's sponsored in, the eighth council district, and it is explicit in that regard," Councilmember Rudy Thomas said when moving the substitute.
Members had no further remarks on the substitute and the clerk recorded the roll as 13 ayes. The council indicated the substitute was intended to clarify sponsorship and direction for the event; no additional budget or staff directions beyond normal procedural handling were recorded in the transcript.
