The Board of Lisonbee Commissioners on April 29 approved a request from Quincy Market Lawn Corporation, doing business as Quincy Market, to record a change in stock interest and officers, and to approve a new on-site manager for the premises at 33 Washington St.
Attorney Sydney Progos, representing Quincy Market Lawn Corporation and principal Matt Porter (named on application forms), said the business consists of four partners and that Kamal Patel will buy out the other partners to become the 100% shareholder. Progos said the change is internal to ownership and that business operations, hours and location will not change. She added that the proposed on-site manager, James Cucinada, will be on-site at least 40 hours a week and is certified in alcohol-server training.
A motion to approve the change of offices, directors and stock interest, and to accept the new manager was made and seconded; the board approved by voice vote.
The approval records the corporate ownership and manager change on the licensing record. No conditions or additional operational changes were imposed at the hearing.
