Wall High sophomore Donovan Klein wins NJSIAA individual boys bowling title; district recognizes student arts achievements

Wall Township Public Schools used its April 29 meeting to recognize student achievements, including Donovan Klein of Wall High School, who was crowned the NJSIAA individual boys bowling champion this season.
Marnie Henry, Wall High athletic director, introduced Klein and noted his state title and contributions to the school’s bowling team. "He was crowned the NJSIAA state bowling champion, individual bowling champion," Henry said. Head coach Martin added that Klein combined talent with humility and strong academics, and that he led the conference in scoring per game and finished second in the state in one measure during the season.
Superintendent Dr. Hanrahan and Board President Michael Malouf praised Klein and said the district will hang an individual state‑championship banner in the high school gym — the district noted that Klein is the first student to receive an individual state title banner in gymnasium display.
The board also recognized performing‑arts achievements: Samuel Feldman was invited to the state level of Teen Arts for vocal solo, and the high‑school guitar ensemble was invited to state Teen Arts. Board and district leaders congratulated cast, crew and advisors for sell‑out productions of Wall Intermediate School's Beauty and the Beast and Wall High School's spring musical, The Addams Family.
The district emphasized the role of coaches, advisors and volunteers in supporting student success and noted it will display commemorative banners and photos in school facilities.
