For each bill the chair moved to delete everything after the enacting clause and insert the language from the listed House engrossment, members voted by voice and the motions prevailed. Chair Toklestone directed nonpartisan staff to make any necessary technical changes when the committee renewed motions recommending the amended bills for placement on the general register.
The motions were taken without formal debate or re-presentation because the committee had previously heard the bills and the Senate had already taken action on them.
