Captain Jeremy Heil and Lieutenant Nancy Ellis said the jail issued an RFP after problems with the prior contractor, VitalCorp. Wellpath LLC was awarded a contract finalized in September 2024 with a first‑year cost of $3,699,987 (monthly payments of $308,332.25). The FY24 budget set contract medical spending at $2,546,713.
