Randy also reported on preliminary work to evaluate modifications needed at the Tanglewood building to allow firefighting apparatus to be housed there. He said measurements and photos have been taken and an estimate is being prepared; the earliest expected move-in date, if modifications proceed, would be fall. Commissioners asked Randy to coordinate with counsel and return with cost estimates.
No formal contract was signed at the meeting; commissioners approved only the administrative direction to obtain counsel review and to return with final documents or cost estimates for future action.
