V&T operations report: Engine 18 cleared, tunnel repairs underway, film production interest and rail-bike upgrades

Tom Gray, operations lead for the Virginia Truckee Railroad, told the commission the railroad recently completed the annual inspection on Engine 18 and reassembled the locomotive. "We're just finishing up the annual inspection on Engine 18, reassembling it, everything passed," Gray said. He said the engine should be fired up for a test run within a week and prepared for Mother's Day service.
