The hospital has recorded multiple trauma, stroke and STEMI activations since the acquisition, staff said.
Officials said surgical volumes are increasing and that another operating room will open in June to expand elective capacity; that expansion should raise inpatient and outpatient throughput and associated diagnostic revenue. Lorenz told supervisors that the additional volume is helping bring gross revenue at Regional in line with other system hospitals.
