At its regular meeting the Del Norte County Board of Supervisors approved the consent agenda and adopted three budget transfers to cover sheriff training and emergency services costs.

Motion carried 4-0 (Howard absent).
Public comment before the votes included requests for help repairing a county-owned failing bridge on Railroad Avenue (residents asked to be connected with County Engineer John Olsen), criticism about the scope and review of consent agenda items, and concerns about county staffing and public safety related to sheriff vacancies. A resident urged the county to place more items on the general business calendar so the public can hear them in detail.
Ending: The board also received copies of letters the Director of Health and Human Services provided to state legislators per the administrative manual. After the votes the board adjourned to its next scheduled meeting on May 13.
